Commonwealth War Graves Montgomery

Oakwood Cemetery in Montgomery contains 78 Commonwealth war graves from World War II, of men who died training in Alabama under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. There are also 20 French war graves and two non-war burials on the cemetery. 14 of these graves are airmen who have died during flight training. Of the remaining graves, five are from French marines and there is one grave of a French soldier.
