The Art Bunker

This bunker was built to store and protect art from the Stedelijk Museum. It was cleared by the German Army in 1942 and the collection was subsequently stored at Zandvoort and Sint Pietersberg (Limburg). The Germans used to bunker to store bikes and also frequently as accommodation for german troops. The bunker was part of Widerstandsnest 43a.
