Here in Amersfoort, two Memorial Stones were laid on November 23, 2016 for:
CAROLINA BOAS-COHEN, murdered on October 22, 1943 in Auschwitz.
BENEDICTUS COHEN, murdered on December 31, 1944 in Auschwitz.
These memorial stones are here for war victims, deported and /or murdered in the Second World War. In Amersfoort, memorial stones are also awarded to resistance fighters who lost their lives.
