Prisoner of War Camp Vojna

This camp was built by German prisoners-of-war shortly after the end of the Second World War to serve as a POW-camp and labor camp.

After the Communist takeover, the camp was used to lock up opponents of the regime under severe conditions.

The similarity with the German concentration camps is amazing, including the text "Praci ke Svobod" ("Freedom through Work", in German: "Arbeit macht Frei") above the entrance.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
