Mount Talawe
The headquarters of the Japnese 51st Division, 65th Infantry Brigade and 141st Infantry Regiment were situated here from December 1942. These headquarters were captured by U.S. Marines on 30 January 1944.
A Japanese Ki-51B Sonia crashed here in January 1944.
