Location Former New Taiwan Theater
The New Taiwan Theater, built in 1909, was completely destroyed by an U.S. air raid on 31 May 1945. The theater was rebuild in a different design elsewhere.
That day, more than 3000 people were killed and more than 10.000 wounded or homeless.
