The Royal Abu Bakar Museum

This museum is situated within the Istana Besar royal palace and exhibits personal artifacts of the Johor royal family. Sultan Ibrahim of Johor collaborated with the Japanese occupation force during the Second World War.

The Imperial Japanese Army used the palace to monitor British movements on the Strait of Johor in 1942.
