Location Former Taiwan Grand Shrine
The Taiwan Grand Shrine was the largest and most important Shinto shrine of Taiwan. Parts of it were destroyed after an IJA transport plane crashed here on 23 October 1944. After the war, the Taiwan Hotel was built here.
