The First World War was raging in full force in the Dolomites where the alliance of Austria-Hungary and Italy fought a war in the mountains.
The war took place here from 1915 to 1917.

A complete Italian defence position lies at the feet of the Cinque Torri and can be visited each time of the year. On top of the plateau is an open-air museum, which can be accessed through funicular.

For current visiting hours, please contact the museum.
