Artwork Den Draad Boekhoute
In a few places along the Belgian-Dutch border is a reconstruction of Den Draad (The Wire): The electric fence which was built by the Germans in World War I, along the border to prevent escapes. Hundreds of people have been electrocuted by the fence.
On this location is not a reconstruction but a piece of art commemorating Den Draad.
