War Memorial Port Sunlight

This is a beautifully constructed, large marble, granite and bronze monument to commemorate the fallen of the First and the Second World War, who lived and worked, at what was then Lever Brothers Soap Works, now Unilever, in the beautiful model village of Port Sunlight.

The memorial is situated in The Causeway; to the North East is the also spectacular Christ Church, to the North West looking along King Georges and Queen Mary’s Drive’s to the ever graceful Lady Lever Art Gallery. To the west there is what is now, the garden memorial and stone to the victims of the Hillsbourgh football disaster.
