384th BG 42-30076 545th SQN

On 22 June 1943 an American B17F Bomber was on the return flight from Antwerp to it's base Grafton Underwood, England, when it was attacked by 8 German fighters. The B17 exploded in the air at a short distance from here.
4 crew members lost their lives and 6 were taken prisoner.
