She lived with her brothers David and Salomon on the Heirweg in Visvliet in the house they had inherited from their parents. Jette and her brothers remained unmarried.
Jette Israëls took care of the housework and she was in the home improvement drawer shop. Everything was sold in the small shop: sheets, pillowcases, stockings, blankets, elastic, yarn, buttons, pins and so on.
Jette Israëls had trouble walking. For her ailment she sought help from a hypnotist in Eenrum.
