Crash Memorial Dakota VT-CLA
The Dakota VT-CLA was shot down by two Dutch Curtiss P-40 Kittyhawks on 29 July 1947. It was carrying medical supplies to the Indonesian government in Yogyakarta. Eight people were killed.
A replica of the Dakota tail piece is incorporated into the memorial site.
