Museumship USS Cassin Young (DD-793)

The USS Cassin Young (DD-793) was a Fletcher-class destroyer. She was commissioned on 31 December 1943 and served in the Pacific. She was involved in many battles and was hit twice by kamikazes. In total 23 crewmembers were killed. She received four battle stars and a Navy Unit Commendation.

After the was, she remained active. In 1978 she became a museumship.
