Certificate of Merit (RSR)

This certificate was awarded by the Royal Shipwreck Relief and Humane Society of New South Wales. Dimensions: 305 x 405 mm. With frame: 315 x 415 x 25 mm.

The Certificate of Merit is presented to individuals who have demonstrated "bravery in extraordinary circumstances considered worthy of recognition".

The current design features a scroll adorned with the Arms of the State of New South Wales, bearing the recipient’s name alongside a description of their act of bravery. The certificate is personally signed by the President and Chair of the Society, symbolizing official acknowledgment of their courageous actions.

Sometimes the certificate accompanies a medal of the RSR.
