Biography

Malcolm James Larke Blunt was the Pilot on board the Vickers Wellington X3279 JN-M from No. 150 Squadron, when this plane was shot down by Oberleutnant Ludwig Becker from 6. Staffel, Nachtjagdgeschwader 2. The bomber crashed in the Waddensea, East of Ameland. All crewmembers, besides Blunt, Observer Kenneth Stoddart Preston (1913-1942), Co-pilot Sergeant Leonard Thomas Baker (1918-1942), Gunner Sergeant Gwilym Thomas Edwards, Gunner Sergeant William Jackson (1919-1942) and Gunner Sergeant Stanley James Morgan (-1942), were all killed.
