Biography

Falk-Eberhardt von Maltzahn zu Wartenberg und Penzlin grew up on the Manor House " Ganschendorf". In 1939, he joined the Army and was placed with the Kavallerie. In 1943 he was heavily wounded in Stalingrad and later managed to escape from Soviet Imprisonment.
After the war he moved to Bavaria and married Elisabeth Gräfin von Maltzan, a widow with three children. They had a daughter together. In 1966 he married Sigrid von Wietersheim, with whom he had a son.
