Of Skewes near Neath

In the operation "Alan" as a member of the A-company in the early morning of 23-10-1944 killed (headshot) in the hamlet of Bruggen in Rosmalen, north of the railway line to 's-Hertogenbosch, together with his comrades D.G. Davies and R.D. Jones.
Temporarily buried in the temporary cemetery on the Oude Kerkstraat near the water tower in Oss.
A half-brother - Sergeant John Jamses Massey - died on 12-12-1941 near Tobroek in Libya during the desert war in Africa.
Reburied in the British War Cemetery Uden on 20-5-1946
