Pilot of the Handley Page Halifax B. MKII DT705 MH-S, which crashed at 8:15 PM on Vorleweg in Mill. The bomber was shot down on its way to its target by a night fighter of I./NJG 1 from the German air base in Venlo. The target of the mission was Düsseldorf, Germany.

Sgt. J.M. Iliff, Navigator/Bomber
Sgt. C.M. Page, Observer
The four were buried on 29-1-1943 in the garden of the parish priest of St. Petrus-church in Uden.
J.H. Brooks and C.M. Page as unknown (identified in July 1946).
Reburied in Uden War Cemetery in September 1946.
