Biography

Sergeant. No. 9 Squadron RAF, bomb aimer. Son of William and Elsie McLennan from Aberdeen. Husband of Sarah McLennan (née Shand) from Aberdeen.

Killed when his Lancaster W4159 was hit by a German night fighter during a mission to Duisburg and crashed near the Hackfort in Vorden. The entire crew was killed and is buried in the General Cemetery in Vorden.
