Biography

Evelyn Seccombe Felton was born in Hong Kong in 1899 and joined the Royal Navy in 1912. He served on HMS Albion at Gallipoli and later on HMS Orion at Jutland. Specializing in submarines, he commanded several vessels and contributed to naval strategy. During World War II, he oversaw submarine operations and played a role in developing the Folbot used in special missions. After retiring, he worked with the Boys Training Ship Arethusa. He passed away in Bournemouth in 1964.
