SHIELD: Émile Laffon, Armand Louis Khodja, Michel Cailliau and Henri Deschamps landed on LZ Aigle near La Montagne, Ain 16 Oct. Objective: to perform an analysis of the general situation and conduct sabotage operations. Khodja was arrested 24 March 1944 in Paris while attacking the Gestapo HQ on rue Lauriston (16eme), deported to Bergen-Belsen 5 June and liberated 16 May 1945.

This soldier was sent out on a dual mission:
- a). sabotage and execution of Gestapo agents
b). Counter-espiobage.
He also worked with Lt. Basset and Sgt.Maj. Jarrot, who were awarded the M.C. and M.M. for their work, which included the widespread attacks on the hydro-electric powere system of France and the attack upon the Le Creusot Aramaments factory. in particular he took part in the following operations:

a) The blowing up of the lock on the Mulatiere dam, on the river Saone, which contributed to the interruption of enemy traffic to the Mediterranean at a vital time.
b) Some 20 executions of Gestapo agents carried out in extremely dangerous circumstances.
c) Several train derailments and the blowing up of numerous H.T. cables.
d) He rendered all possible aid to a British mission in the Lyons region and several timed took a British officer on to German airfields showing him the installations.
e) He organised a very devoted and energetic team which is still working.
f) He was severely wounded preparing an attack on the Gestapo H.Q. rue Lauriston, Paris, and taken prisoner. The mission he had undertaken knowing full well that he had little hope of coming out alive even if he were successful in blowing up the H.Q. He is now in hospital in Paris.
