Edgar Larratt enlisted on 27 March 1941 and was seconded to the Special Boat Service (SBS). He was a clerk before his enlistment. Larratt, then Corporal with the FORCE 281 Raiding Forces Signals, was captured at Calchi (Halki) in 1945. He was held at the camps COSCHINO and PSITO on Rhodes Island.
