Biography

Trooper Roger Lockheed enlisted on August 28, 1940 in Sherbrooke, Quebec and served with the 27th Armdoured Regiment (Sherbrooke Fusiliers Regiment). He landed in Normandy on June 6th, 1944, but was captured and summarily executed by Waffen-SS soldiers the next day. His widow received the Memorial Cross in his memory.
