Sir Theo Chandos Hoskyns-Abrahall was a British colonial administrator and First World War veteran. He was educated at Epsom College and served as a captain in the London Regiment, sustaining wounds during WWI.
From 1921 to 1953, he held various posts in the Colonial Administration Service, notably as Chief Commissioner of Nigeria’s Western Provinces (1946–1951) and later as Lieutenant-Governor of the Western Region (1951–1953).
Beyond public service, Hoskyns-Abrahall was also a painter with solo exhibitions. He married twice—first to Clare Drury in 1925 (divorced 1944), then to Lois Ogle later that year—and died in 1975.
