State House Marina

The State House Marina, built in 1886 on Lagos Island, served as the official residence of British colonial governors and later the first Nigerian heads of state. After decades of federal use, it was handed over to the Lagos State government in 2017. During World War II, governor Bourdillon was actively involved in preparations for Operation Postmaster.
