“Major Pössl and his Panzer-Abteilung struck a group of 50 Soviet tanks near Belgorod, destroying 39 of these without friendly losses.”

This action took place on the 14.03.1943, when Pössl and his Abteilung were summoned to assist the hard-pressed Aufklärungs-Abteilung of the Großdeutschland Division.
