Heinrich IV Prinz Reuss zu Köstritz was born on October 26th, 1919 at Ernstbrunn, Austria, as the son of Heinrich XXXIX Prinz Reuss zu Köstritz and Antonia Gräfin zu Castell-Castell. He married Marie Luise Prinzessin zu Salm-Horstmar on June 10th, 1954 at Varlar.
