Staffel, Kampfgeschwader 100, KIA when He 177A-3 Werknummer 332.227 coded "5J (or 6N) + QL"shot down during a night raid on London by a Mosquito of 25th RAF Squadron flown by F/Lt Bailie - broke up in the air and fell on Wolsey Farm, Yoxford, Suffolk - remaining crew:
