Biography

Oliver Rostain was born on November 8th, 1922 as son to Emile Rostain and Rosalie Rostain. As from the end of 1944 until January 1945 he served as Radio Communicator with Company B, 1st Battalion, 274th Infantry Regiment, 70th Infantry Division, finally reaching the rank of Sergeant.

After the Second World War he studies law at the Hastings College of Law in San Francisco and worked with Kern County District Attorney’s Office for 31 year's. Between 1955 and 1965 as Deputy District Attorney and between 1965 and 1986 as Chief Criminal Attorney.
