Biography

August Grauting was killed on July 4th, near Parjota (Sturseni, Hill 211) in Bessarabia as Kompaniechef 10. / Infanterie-Regiment 16 with the rank of Oberleutnant. During the war his remains were buried at Riscani, in Moldavia. His remains are still tthere or have been lost.
