Biography

Jack L. Flatau entered military service on January 11th, 1943. He served as Glider Pilot with 1st Troop Carrier Command. He left for Northern Africa on May 12th, 1943, where he arrived on May 20th. He took part in several airborne operations. He returned to the United States on November 30th, 1944 to arrive there on December 1st. He was honorably discharged on July 30th, 1945.
