Citation:
"Since the award ol the Distinguished Service Order, Group Capt. Dundas has led a large number of operational sorties, many of which have been extremely difficult and hazardous missions. He has played an important part in developing the technique of low-level cannon and machine gun attacks in adverse weather for the close support of forward troops. In December, 1944, he led three formations ol Spitfire aircraft, in extremely poor visibility, to attack enemy positions in the Bagnacavallo area. The nearest point of the attack was less than 100 yards from our lorward troops. The operations were so successful that the Canadian attack which followed immediately captured the position with only slight losses. Excellent results have been achieved in many other attacks led by Group Capt. Dundas. His judgment, keenness and courage have been outstanding on all occasions"
