Summer 1944 : fightings in Galicia as SS Rottenführer in the 8.Kie of the SS Franz. Freiw. Sturmbrigade
22nd August 1944 : WIA and evacuated
September 1944 : promoted SS Unterscharführer
October 1944 : promoted SS Oberscharführer in the 5.Kie Waffen Gren Reg der SS Nr.57
February 1945 : retreated from Belgard as head of the 2.Kie
March 1945 : company commander of the 2.Kie Waffen Gren Reg der SS Nr.57
14 April 1945 : transfered to the staff of the SS Bat. Nr.57
26 April 1945 : took over the 2.Kie after SS Ostuf Pierre MICHEL KIA
28 April 1945 : WIA to the knee and evacuated out of Berlin
