"Distinguished himself through courageous action against the enemy as a marconist of the Office for Special Assignments (Bureau Bijzondere Opdrachten) in LONDON, who would be parachuted at the end of August 1944 over occupied territory, but his plane force landed before reaching the drop zonde due to the German anti-aircraft gun fire.

He was captured and perished in GEMANY only days after his liberation by the U.S. Army."
