"Bombardier Nakoniecznikoff has been assistant to the Liaison Officer of the 11th Medium Regiment in all the actions that the Regiment has taken part in.

He has worked with untiring effort and has performed every task set him both efficiently and energetically, in the course of his duties he has had to spend long hours in Observation Posts, often under heavy fire from the enemy.

In danger his coolness and courage has always been an inspiration and example to those with him.

He has distinguished himself during the Battle for Monte Cassino and later during the Campaign on the Adriatic Sector, when on many occasions he has continued to work calmly and efficiently under the most difficult and hazardous conditions."
