Class of 1939. Carmel – Lite staff4; Boxing 1 & 4; Intramural baseball. Son of Mr. & Mrs. John Paulsen of 310 Hanssler Street in Peoria, Illinois. Seaman Cadet Paulsen was killed in an air accident whilst piloting a Navy Hellcat. Enlisted in the Naval Reserves in July of 1942.
