Biography

Corporal Johnson was attached to the 2d Platoon Company A, 1st Battalion, 4th Marines during the Battle of Corregidor in 1942. He enlisted at the age of 14 and became the youngest U.S. Army Prisoner of War in the Philippines at age sixteen years old. Johnson also fought in the Korea War.

He was the author of the book, "Baby of Bataan".
