Biography
Pfc Dicassio was seriously wounded in the morning of May 6, 1942 on Corregidor. 1st Lt. William F. Hogaboom noticed that Dicassio's body became tense and unconsciousness while he talked to him, before sending him to the hospital on a litter. Hogaboom was told on subsequent inquiry that Dicassio died in the hospital and that the body was cremated outside Malinta Tunnel.
