Memorial The South Saskatchewan Regiment

The South Saskatchewan Regiment from Canada was the regiment that took this bridge over the Schipbeek from the Germans after heavy fighting on April 7, 1945. The move was made on the route to Holten and costed a lot of lives and wounded soldiers.

Local residents of the Beuseberg in Holten raised a memorial for this on April 7, 2016.
