McCoull House

The McCoull House served as a Confederate headquarters and was in the center of the Mule Shoe Salient at the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House. It sustained heavy damage during the battle. Afterwards, it was repaired and reoccupied. Fire destroyed the house in 1921. Only the outline of the house remains today.
