Central Armed Forces Museum Moscow

This museum is located in northern Moscow and tells the history and development of the Soviet armed forces from the Russian Civil War (1917-1923) to present. It has a impressive exhibition about the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) and the Second World War in general. Important museum items in this collection are the Victory banner as well as all of the front banners and the captured Nazi ones that were used during the Victory Parade in 1945. An overcoat worn by dictator Joseph Stalin is also on display.
