George C. Marshall Museum

This museum at the Virginia Military Institute is dedicated to General George C. Marshall, one of the highest US Army officers during the Second World War and the instigator of the Marshall Plan. He was also a politician, President of the American Red Cross and a Nobel Peace Prize receiver. His military and political career is outlined by documents, photographs, personal belongings and other artefacts. The museum contains also a German Enigma Cipher Machine.
