Ouvrage "D" de La Laufee

This 'Ouvrage d'infanterie' was built in 1887-1888 and modernised in 1904 La Laufee saw heavy fighting during the Battle of Verdun, but the Germans failed in capturing it. Ouvrage de La Laufee was captured by the German Army in June 1940 without any fighting. All of its armor elements were scrapped in 1944. La Laufee is in good condition.
