Battery 127

Battery 127 was a part of Fort MacArthur, part of the harbor defense of Los Angeles and was built in 1942-1943. The casemated battery was operational until 1948, when it was deactivated. It was equipped with two 16" guns.

Nowadays the battery is open to the public.
