Liberation Memorial Bavel

This memorial commemorates the liberation of Bavel in 1944 by the Polish forces. The ''Polish monument'' is inset relief of black natural stone framed by a gate of white natural stone. The relief depicts a woman with a laurel branch, together with a cross, a bird, five military helmets and the municipal coat of arms.

The five helmets refer to the five Polish soldiers who died during the liberation of Bavel.
