Monument French Volunteers
On the Route de Bordeaux in Soulac-sur-Mer is a monument to commemorate the fallen volunteers from the FFI (French Homeland Forces) who died in 1944 and 1945 during the liberation of Pointe de Grave and surrouding area. These men were part of the 38th and 131rd Infantry Regiments.
