Advanced Landing Ground E1 A21C
On the Rue du Val just outside Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer on the road towards Omaha Beach and Widerstandsnest 65 is a monument to commemorate the first Allied airfield after D-Day. It was built on June 8, 1944. The airstrip was called E1 A21C.
