American War Memorial Maastricht Quarry

The Quarry Schark is a recognized American War Memorial, also known as the "American Memorial The Schark". The original address of the Schark quarry is: Mergelweg 359, 6212 NJ, Maastricht. Nowadays there is also a second entrance via the ENCI quarry: Lage Kanaaldijk 115, 6212 NA, Maastricht
Viewing is still only possible on the basis of reservation and only on certain days.
Mass was held here for American soldiers on December 24, 1944.
